Why I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
1. Things we've missed over the last two weeks include Meeting Zoe Bay, and smothering her with kisses; celebrating Yasmine's 2nd Birthday, and playing with our new neighbor Baby Shea.
2. I'm running through tissues like it's my job, and so of course, Will is obsessed with the tissue box. I'm constantly torn between having them close by and keeping them out of reach.
3. I still can't take anything fun to make me feel better or sleep better. I can't even take anything NOT fun besides Tylenol.

The battle of March 3rd
Well, there's irony, and there's this situation. You over do it when you go food shopping, anticipating a snow day or two, and lots of home-cooked goodness. Then the baby gets a stomach virus, which is short lived. Then Mom & Dad gets the stomach virus at the same time, and no one is eating anything. All we needed was Gatorade and soda, neither of which we had of course, until Ramona and Katherine delivered to our doorstep. We then had to call in the only babysitter we could get on short notice, our 4 year old neighbor Isobel. The stomach virus already worked its way through their house, so Isobel and her assistants, mom Lara and little brother Gio, took baby Will for a few hours so we could sleep and work up the strength to carry Will. With almost 2 years of experience in caring for baby boys, Isobel does an excellent job of feeding and cuddling:

We are eternally grateful to them for their help and these awesome pictures of their adventure.

Welcome Zoe Bay

We are so proud to announce the arrival of our niece, Zoe Bay Hochman, who arrived February 25, 2009 at 12:57 pm, weighing in at 6 lbs., 2 oz., and at 19" long.
Yes folks, she is a beauty. Now Will is usually pretty gracious, but as of late, he's developed what you might call a "personality." While he is super excited to have a playmate, he may be feeling ambivalent about having to share the spotlight he's been enjoying as the first grandchild. He's managed to be sick two weekends in a row - thus preventing a trip to NY to meet the newest addition to our family. Coincidence?
We're sure he'll be over it soon enough, and then he'll show Zoe the ropes of owning her Grandparents and her Auntie and Uncle. She's already well on her way!

1st Tooth!!!!
In response to the economic stimulus plan Will popped a tooth. He knows the money is coming. The quicker the teeth come in, the quicker he can collect from the tooth fairy. Not sure what the going rate on a tooth is these days but like everything else its probably not cheap.
We tried very hard to take a picture, but he has a rather large tongue. Here are some pics of us trying....

Here is a picture of me eating cupcakes. Which evidently cause tooth decay.

Now have no fear Will. I will teach you how to negotiate rewards with Mom before going to the dentist.
Some tips for other kids looking to extort their parents.
1. Make your demands late in the game. On the drive over to the dentist, while walking into the office, or if you really want to risk it just hold the mouth shut and wait until your in the chair.
2. Go big if I was a kid now I would ask for the Wii. Negotiate down from what you really want.
3. If negotiations go wrong try crying, or blame it on an imaginary friend, brother, sister, family member, etc...
Good Luck!

Hooked on the Blackberry.
Claudia did her best, DAMMIT SHE DID HER BEST!
She tried to do everything right for Will. She ate right, exercised, stayed off the wine, sushi and cold cuts. But there was one thing she couldn't stop, those damn emails. She typed away; her thumbs practically bleeding some days. Not knowing what she was doing to the child growing inside of her. Who knew? Kids can be born hooked on the Blackberry. I had no idea. This video makes it all too clear pregnant women should not use a Blackberry. My poor son hooked on the Blackberry, before he can even speak. I don't know how to deal with this epidemic I really don't. But this is real people. Look at this kid go into attack mode when he sees that damn evil email typing machine.

History repeats itself
Anyone in the Trevor family is familiar with a famous picture of my sister Jen as a baby, biting my Grandpa Jack's nose. It was a big 8x10 on the wall at my Grandparents' house. Will is still teething and there are no teeth in sight. But the gnawing has ramped up as of late, as history repeats itself:
